2014 Strength to Stand Student Conference – Xplicit

So, we’ve been looking at alternatives to our usual Winter Retreat (Chillipepper) and think that this by far is the best one for us. I’ve talked with a few other youth pastors that have attended this conference before and it has come highly recommended. Now I know what you are thinking…”We’ve always gone to Chilipepper!”. Just because we’ve always done something in the past doesn’t require us to lock in and always do the same in the future. Not much changes with this conference, just the venue. The artist and speaker line up for this event is simply amazing! Take a look at the video before making a judgement. Note that David Crowder and Switchfoot are not on the list for our January conference, but just check out who is:

Smoky Mountain Student Bible Conference 2014

I’ll have more information soon and give it to you as we get it. Price should be right around $150 and then we’ll take off as much from that fee as we can via fundraisers. Yes, we will be staying in cabins again like we did last year. One boys cabin and one girls cabin. Capacity is limited to 40 people and will fill up fast. We’ll be taking non-refundable $25 deposits sometime in December when we are ready to finalize the list of attendees. The deposit will be applied to your balance due. I’ll announce it and post it online when we get ready.
