Update: Please remember to bring your forms to the Wednesday night meeting. We will have a notary on hand to notarize them for you.
We are planning to leave Corinth Baptist Church Friday at 1:30 pm. Please try to arrive around 1:00 to pack your belongings into the bus and help get prepared to leave. We would like for everyone to have eaten a lunch before you get to CBC.
Students will need spending money for:
We will stop at a convienence store on the road while traveling on the way up and back.
They will need money for one meal on Friday night and one meal on Sunday afternoon.
Your $100 fee included food for Saturday’s breakfast, lunch, and dinner(as well as some snacks at the cabin) and for breakfast on Sunday morning.
Optional: Regular prices for Chillipepper shirts at the conference will be $15 for short-sleeve shirts, $18 for long-sleeve shirts, and $22 for hooded sweat shirts.
We will have some down time on Saturday afternoon. Some have asked to maybe see a movie or something else. Not sure at this point.
Update: Please keep note of the weather for the weekend. It will be quite cold with a snow and sleet mixture on Friday night. Please dress accordingly.

Update: We had a question about medicine. I thought I’d post up the response.
It will be the same as when we take kids to camp. Only send the doses needed in the original bottle. If for some reason it was questioned, we’d need to be able to prove what it was and who it was for. We always have an adult responsible for holding and administering meds. It’s just easier and safer than having them hold it. Once we get all the medical forms back, we’ll create a list of who gets what and when. Just let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. Good question! I’ll post it up in case anyone wants to know how we’ll handle meds.
Update: You can download your permission slips here if you didn’t get a copy during one of our meetings:

This will be the page for all information regarding the Chillipepper Winter Student Conference January 25-27, 2013.
Chillipepper Winter Student Conference is a weekend-long celebration for middle school, high school, college students, and their adult leaders. For 17 years, churches from around the Southeast have been gathering in Pigeon Forge, TN for great music, convicting speakers, awesome fellowship, and much more. This year, we are honored to be joined by another great lineup of guests including Britt Nicole, For King and Country, The Museum, Darren Whitehead, Jared Hall, and Curt Cloninger.
Check back often for updated information, forms, ect. This post is a work in progress as there is so much information to sort through. Please be patient.
Permission slips and emergency forms are being worked on now. Keep in mind, permission form will need to be notarized since this trip is out of state. I’m working on getting notary volunteers to be made available at Corinth Baptist Church to make it easier to get the form notarized.
*Update – I received our confirmation for registration today. Our request to be placed into the “Omega” session was approved! That means we will be in the later sessions. Nice! Also, Draytonville Baptist Church is taking a few students to Chillipepper as well. They will be staying in a hotel in town, but they will hang with us during the events since they also have the “Omega” session.

Originally, based on the initial transportation available (two buses and a mini van) we rented one large cabin to accomodate everyone in one space. Now, with registration maxed out at 41 people, we have traded in the first cabin and upgraded to two full sized cabins. One cabin for male students and leaders, one cabin for female students and leaders. Both cabins are pretty much the same and we are in the same resort, but not near each other. Below are videos of both of the cabins.
For my “Tweeters”, the hashtag for this year will be #Chillipepper13 and our usual #alienyouth (Skillet fans are like “What?” lol)
