Jerusalem Project 2014 – Information and Updates

UPDATE for Friday schedule:

We will meet at CBC at 9:15am. Doors open for morning service at 9:30am consisting of testimonies. Meeting begins at 10am. 11am we will eat lunch at BRE then go to our movie (Planes 2 at 12:30). Afterwards we will bowl and play games. When the Fun Day time is over we will go to Bennie and Tammy Brown’s house for our own celebration time with swimming and pizza. We will leave from there to go back to BRE for the night meeting. Night meeting doors open at 6:30pm and should finish about 9pm. No band or preaching tonight, just a celebration service. Friday Fun Day costs $11 per person but that fee has been paid by the Alien Youth Department so it is no cost for you.

UPDATE July 11, 2014:

JP 2014 – Schedule for the week of July 14-18

You will get your t-shirts later in the week. They are to be worn on Friday for the fun day. Lanyards will be given out on Sunday night and Monday morning.

Monday – Thursday

On Monday we will meet at Corinth Baptist Church at 7:15 am so that everyone will be there a little earlier and be able to find their crew locations and get settled. If you are not there by the departure time we will assume you are being dropped off at BRE.

Tuesday – Thursday we can meet at 7:30. (If you are going to be late please let Brian know. It may be better for you to be dropped of at BRE if it will be a considerable delay.)

If you are being dropped off at BRE be there no later than 7:45 am! (Parents: If you are dropping off or picking up at BRE, you must go to the gravel parking lot to drop off or for pick-ups!)

Arrive at _BRE then leave for worksites at 8:00am

(Monday we have an opening celebration before leaving_BRE for work sites)

12:00-12:30 pm – Return from job sites to ________BRE_____ for lunch

(Lunch provided by local churches)

1:30pm – Leave for Corinth Baptist Church

AT SOME POINT HERE EVERYONE NEEDS TO GO SHOWER! Please.

5:00 Meet at CBC and load buses

5:15pm – Leaving CBC for Supper at the designated churches below:

Monday – ____CENTRAL_________

Tuesday – ___MACEDONIA_________

Wednesday – ________TEMPLE_____________

Thursday – _________GRASSY POND______(We will need to leave at 5:00 pm for Grassy Pond!!!!)

Friday- dinner is on your own

6:30 – Meet back at _______BRE______________ for Worship Service.

(Please Note: Doors open at 6:30pm the Worship service will begin at 7:00pm)

It is difficult to say what time we will be finished with the Worship service. It really depends on how much time the band and speaker use. We are going to say it will be over at 9:00 pm and then adjust accordingly. If we finish at 9:00 then we should be back to CBC around 9:30-9:45. You may be picked up from BRE (in gravel parking lot) but please let a leader know that you are not riding on the bus to avoid any confusion.

FRIDAY SCHEDULE WILL BE ANNOUNCED .

Summer is upon us and that means one thing…Jerusalem Project is almost here! Now, I know some of you may be tired of hearing us announce about JP for the last two months (parents – we have been announcing during student meetings since April), but that is to make sure you get registered and paid.

Registration reminder: The last day to register and pay is June 29!

Payments can be made by cash, check, or credit/debit card. Checks made out to Corinth Baptist Church. Payments can be given to Brian, Christy, or dropped off at the church office during office hours.
