Lecrae – Perfomance From The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon Last Night! – Video
Lecrae returned to The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon last night ( January 9, 2015 ) for a full performance. Along with DJ Promote and Nate Robinson, Lecrae performed the song “Welcome to America.” The song is track No. 2 off his seventh album Anomaly. They performed a remix type version of the song, which took bits of a speech by Martin Luther King, Jr. Lecrae made history when he became the first Christian rapper on late night television, and performed a snippet of his song “All I Need is You” with the Roots along with several others on ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’ on September 18, 2014. Since that performance, The Recording Academy has nominated Lecrae for three 2015 Grammy Awards — Best Rap Performance for his song “All I Need Is You,” Best Gospel Performance/Song for featuring on Erica Campbell’s song “Help” and Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for his song “Messengers.” All in all, a banner year for Lecrae. Looking forward to seeing him perform live again at the Strength to Stand Renown Student Conference next weekend!
